First win of the season!
Superb driving from Lewis there to win the Canadian Grand Prix. Absolutely flawless driving. Crappy pitstops from McLaren again though, they really need to pull their finger out there.
I was a bit worried when McLaren were telling Lewis that both Alonso and Vettel were also on a two-stop strategy and it turned out they weren't - but in the end it was definitely the right call, as Lewis just stormed back up the pack and took both Alonso and Vettel. A beautiful beautiful sight, Lewis just breezing past them.
I love seeing Lewis so happy at the end of the race - I just sit there beaming at my TV. I have a friend back in Northampton who is also a big Lewis fan, and she also doesn't like Alonso or Vettel, so we just sit there texting back and forth the whole race. It's usually nothing but 'Yesss!' and 'Oh no!' and 'Go Lewis!' There were lots more 'Go Lewis's this race.
