I played through half the game.....and fucked up right at the point where the short and long paths diverge.
Now I have to do it ALL OVER AGAIN.

These games are such assholes. The -w (width) -h (height) command to adjust the resolution didn't work, and I just cannot parse the blrghblkjreg of the other help suggestions, so I've just gotten used to playing it in 360x420 window mode. IT IS SO TINY. But it's so pretty and the voices are as wonderful as I remember them. I love the backgrounds so much - I wish they still made games like this. They look like an animated picture book.
So anyway, my internet thing of late has been watching cake decorators on youtube. It's weirdly satisfying watching them make the flowers and borders. Chinese, Vietnamese, and Spanish/Portuguese-speaking patissieres (is that it? cake people.) are my favorites. Like this guy:

He has another one for a Chocolate Ganaaaaaaarche Groom Cake.
