A few weeks ago I received a piece of junk mail encouraging me to test drive a new Mercedes SUV. Of course, any dealership would only need one look at me to realize that I'm not capable of actually purchasing a $40,000 vehicle, so it seemed like that much more junk. Thankfully I took a closer look at it, because on top of simple encouragement, it also included an offer to send me a free pair of Tecnica PacMoc shoes if I sent in the card with a validation sticker from the dealership.
Now, I was more familiar with Tecnica as an Italian company that makes very nice ski boots, but the PacMoc is a very cool shoe in its own right. As someone with big feet who likes to travel, I am intimately familiar with the difficulty of packing shoes- they're heavy and they take up a lot of space. The genius of the PacMoc is that they weigh only a couple ounces and they compress and snap together for easy packing without deforming.
Nifty...
I was very pleasantly surprised this morning when I heard the doorbell ring and found a package from UPS with my name on it, considering that it was only 3 weeks ago that I went into the dealership and they decided to just give me the validation sticker without going through the motions of actually having me test-drive the thing.
What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Midland
"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

What American accent do you have? Take More Quizzes I feel the need to dispute their claim that unaccented American English belongs to the Midwest (or Midland as they mysteriously call it). For some reason untrained people think it's ok to make random, unsubstantiated linguistic assertions, while in other areas like physics or botany they would be quickly pointed out as dunces who are just making stuff up.

"And did those feet
In ancient times,
Walk upon England's mountains green?
And was the holy Lamb of God
In England's pleasant pastures seen?"
Well, no, but it's a cracking good tune.
