So, in a fit of lameness, I have not actually posted playlists for the second and third editions of my radio show yet. Why? Well, besides my lameness and general apathy, I had not been able to listen back to the playlist for episode two as it did not finalize in the OACR cd burner initially. However, that has been rectified. And thus, here are playlists! I am fairly sure these confirm that I, as a DJ, am totally schizophrenic. Or maybe it's just that I don't have nearly enough records. the divided nation edition. i played hard techno for the first half, then abruptly switched to downtempo. however, this was not nearly so jarring as i would have liked, as i was preempted for twenty minutes by public affairs' election coverage between the segments. this show did involve me playing 'smoke and mirrors' by rjd2 to follow the newsbreak, though, which was appropriate and awesome. otherwise, meh.

an okay show. i had originally planned to aim at a housey feel for this one, but then i opened with fennesz and proceeded to play techno for half an hour. i think the segues between different styles were executed fairly well, though. honestly, i wish i had a recording of this one. wasn't half bad, all told.
