Of course, if you had a ninjas-vs-pirates wedding, you would become a folk hero to certain segments of the population! Actually, your wedding might even turn up on youtube or something...And really, what more could anyone want?

She wouldn't disown you, but I think it would scar her for life. Barry'd sure get a kick out of it. :-) (Well, at the very least, he'd get a kick out of Mama's reaction).

Maybe if you give her a special engraved samurai sword for the ceremony, she'd be more receptive.

My friend Erin thought about having the bridal party hold light sabers down the aisle in her wedding as she and her husband leave the church. I'll keep you posted as to whether or not that actually happens. :-)
