Someone said something smart, so I want to share it here:
If you think what the country needs is a centrist party, you should shut up now. We have a centrist party--the Democrats. If we're going to have a third party, it should be left-wing. If nothing else, when the Republicans call everyone socialists, they'll be right about some of us.
