- Jingles make me smile. Not just any jingle, but a REALLY catchy one. Like the subway $5.00 footlong jingle. Or the one from free credit report. com that one's pretty catchy too.

- My Mary Kay Rep has more power over me than anyone else I know. I had plans to meet up w/ her today b/c she had some free samples to share w/ me from the new catalog. Well you better believe i woke up a whole hour earlier so I could get ready & be in tip top Beauty Shape! I prepped for this like I was getting ready for an important doctor's appt. Kinda like how you get ready for a dentist appt. You brush for 2 minutes, you floss, you rinse, you spit, and you might even be crazy like me & use that silly tounge scraper thingy...i'm still not sure what that thing is for :). Anyway, i think you get my point. I used every beauty tip she had ever taught me, just so i didn't get "the look" that i fear so much. Ladies you may know that look...the i'm so disappointed in you look, the what the hell have you been doing look, the have i taught you nothing look, the look of the all powerful MARY KAY REP! Seriously do they teach them this stuff at MK School? If so my rep must have a PhD b/c she is fierce. Anyway, i think i passed the test, she only gave me "the glance" nothing to major, just asked a few questions, patted me on my head & sent me on my way happy w/ my samples. Talk about a sigh of relief...Beauty really isn't just painful ladies & gents...BEAUTY'S a BITCH :)
