I feel totally dumb! I only JUST figured out that Christina Hendricks is Our Mrs. Reynolds from Firefly. All this time I just thought she was curvy hot Joan from Mad Men and it wasn't until Stephen mentioned it that I realized - hey, she's Saffron!

In other news, I just bought new brown boots online that were on clearance for $40. Score! They only had them in a half-size bigger than what I normally wear, but that's better than a half-size smaller, y'know?
Hey, would you pay $21 for these socks? I think that's ridiculous. I could just do that to my existing socks for free. Or else if I wore them long enough, they'd just get like that by themselves. I feel like what my mom must have felt in 1985 when my sister wanted ripped designer jeans.
Stephen is away until Sunday night, for the Weekend to End Women's Cancers (which he does every year) and I'm sad! I don't sleep well if he's not home. And I feel like some maniac is going to break in. The cats also get sad when he's not here - Spot has been yowling all night.
Nicole and I have been diligently going through Buffy season 5 (really, this was her idea). The Buffybot episodes are still as awesome as ever. You know, I don't think that Spike was ever funnier than he was at that point. Seasons 6 and 7, he was too serious and messed up and seasons 2 through 4, he was just delicious fun badass with Druscilla. But season 5 was all about the hilarity. It never gets old!
I just stole downloaded all the Violent Femmes stuff that I'd been missing, and man, is that ever a good time. Is there anything more enjoyable than a little Jesus Walking on the Water at 8am on the bus? I think not. Half the time I don't know what the fuck Gordon Gano is talking about and the other half I just don't care.
