Well, this is embarassing.
I won't tell you how old I was, because I was a late bloomer and late bloomers have their first kiss very late in life. I had avoided being kissed up until that time because I figured that my first kiss should be something pretty special and I should really wait until I was sure it was going to be fantastic. This is what happens when you grow up watching a lot of movies.
Anyway, it was my birthday. We were outside, and it was dark. I couldn't see a thing.
I remember that it was awkward and I didn't know how to do it. Was I supposed to close my eyes? Do I tilt my head? Should I breathe? I was EXTREMELY nervous and self-conscious. I didn't know if I should open my mouth or what, and I absolutely could not relax. Then it was over, and much like Angelina in Gia, "I thought, well I could have done that with a German Shepherd."
After that, I decided that I did not like kissing, and I avoided it as best I could for the next little while. Up until I got kissed by someone who really knew how, and then? Kissing was AMAZING.
