Well, here's what we learned today: don't NOT eat anything until after 3 o'clock in the afternoon, then eat a burrito, and follow it up by glucking a whole bottle of vitamin water in short time a few hours later

This morning I was still limping from something I pulled in my hip last night. Mom made me let her drive me to school because it snowed and they (my parents) don't trust me to drive in snow yet -_

After my shower I went to Mom's room and told her matter-afactly that I wasan't going to school today. I explained that I hadn't slept very much last night and I just felt terrible. I made sure to stutter a lot, and sound so miserable that I was on the verge of tears. Worked like a charm. Best of all, it ended up being Mom who suggested I just stay

I'm sick. My throat is scratchy, I'm coughing and sneezing, and now my nose is all runny. I feel drained and icky, and my ears keep popping when I blow my nose
