All right. Either someone over there jumped on it and locked the page down immediately, or I will just bet you as of about half an hour ago somebody changed Jon Stewart's page on Wikipedia to say that he's Batman. I'll bet five dollars on it. Seriously.
(And even if they did get a jump on it and lock the page, probably some particularly clever nerd decided to go the other route via circumvention, and so right now on Batman's Wikipedia page, it gives his secret identity as "Jon Stewart".)
(Much to the vast confusion of every Green Lantern/DC Comics fan out there no doubt, but that's the price you pay for quality internet humor.)
On a more serious note, I hope somebody on my friends' list was watching or catches the episode tomorrow, and transcribes what Jon said at the very end of the segment in response to McCain's angry old man tirade on the repel of Don't Ask Don't Tell. Because I can't quite remember how it went, and I'm already regretting that. That's possibly the one time ever watching the show I can recall that I honestly felt as far as the audience's reaction went, the applause should've outweighed the laughter. Because yeah - some of those soldiers who are in the military hospital after being injured in line of duty to their country might just be gay, imagine that. And really, wouldn't it be nice if their loved ones could visit them without having to lie about who they are.
