Technology: May Eat Your Face, Someday (But In The Meantime, Ain't It Really Cool?)
Safely back home and moved back into my bedroom at my parents' place in Cleveland. I love how it only took me about two hours to pack everything yesterday, and a good four to five hours to remove and place everything today.
First of all: how is it that all of my stuff wildly and rabidly multiplied without me realizing it?? I come back home, and suddenly I've got a dresser full to overflowing, a bookshelf sagging in the middle, several stacks of books spilling out onto the floor, and a whole 'nother bookshelf my parents brought down from the attic just for my DVDs.
Well, clearly I've been doing my part to help the economy these past couple months...
Second of all: guess where I'm doing this update from?
My house, where my parents finally sprung for high-speed internet!! OMGYAY! They even got a router, so I can be on my laptop with wireless! Well, this will certainly make the coming months much, much more bearable, indeed.
Well, looks like I'm spending tomorrow morning running errands, tomorrow afternoon with machi_neko (SQUEE ♥), Saturday I'm going to meet up with some Guild folk at the Great Lakes Faire and spend the day, and Sunday I'm either going to the Faire again or going to a movie with eliara.
Yay, stuff to do. Check it out, I can totally pretend I have a life and everything.
