Just Woke Up Less Than An Hour Ago
It's been a pretty lazy weekend so far. Lauren came over Friday night and we worked on the puzzle while watching "The Emperor's New Groove"...I love that movie so much. Yzma and Kronk are just hilarious.
Then on Saturday, Mom worked some more on the puzzle before I woke up and almost finished it up except for one section. So I put in all of the pieces except four, and had Lauren, Chrissy, and Susan come over for a "completion of the puzzle" party. We each put in one of the remaining pieces, and then we ate chocolate and popcorn while watching another Xena episode I had taped. Chrissy had to go home afterwards. Susan kindly drove me and Lauren up to the grocery store, since I had to get turkey bacon and white bread for Mom. I also ended up getting some of those sugar cookies that come ready-made and you just have to bake them.
Then we came back home, and Susan and Lauren played cards (Lauren taught Susan Go Fish, and Susan taught her poker) while I put the cookies in the oven and gave them an imprompteau candy-making demonstration. I also finally showed Susan the "Van Helsing in 15 minutes" and "PoA in 15 minutes" things that pretty much all of us except her had seen. Susan also let us try on her fairy wings that she'd just bought at Halloweentown.
Susan left at around five (she had to pack since she's leaving for OSU tomorrow), and me and Lauren watched Airplane on TV and had dinner (BLTs) until she left at seven. Then I went for a walk and found a twenty-dollar bill by the side of the road.
Today I have to do my homework, and Mom's bugging me to start on my college essays. Bleh.
