[Mao's...not very pleased about what's going on. He's getting pretty sick of the whole "everybody's telling the truth" thing, which, unbeknownst to the poor guy himself, is going to happen to him once he gets asked a question.

Let the fireworks begin.]

[PHONE]

All right, what's with all these sudden confessions? Why is this whole town suddenly saying "I want a cat", "I'm horrible and dangerous", "I'm a king", "I'm a murderer"?! It's like there's some kind of disease going around forcing people to tell the truth to everyone with ears.

...Hmph, I'm not going to catch it if I can help it.

[ACTION]

[Guess who can be found:

A.) At the comic book store--again? Yep, Mao's busy spending the day there, mostly because he's a little paranoid that this is some sort of sickness going around and he'd rather not catch it from anyone. Which is why he's ditched his job at the movie theater to go spend time at the comic book store--he's not coming near anybody if he can help it.

He...doesn't know that he already caught it.

B.) In some isolated place at the park. Apparently, he's realized he has caught it somehow, and is now deciding that if the comic book store isn't remote enough he's going to search out a small place at the park to research and to keep well away from everybody. He doesn't want to spill his guts to anyone right now.

Of course, you've probably stumbled on this place. Feel free to bother him, though he won't notice you, being too absorbed in the tales of Golden Age Superman's adventures.]

always a demon, the comic books are mine, no need for a job, we don't take orders from no one!, can't i research in peace?!, screw you mayfield, event: can't tell a lie, you idiots are going to kill me
