so i saw this guy the other day and he was wearing a shirt that pissed me off and made me hate america even more. at first i thought it was just a pic of the american flag waving. BUT as i looked closer it wasnt waves i was seeing it was JESUS on the fuckin american flag and below it it stated "in god we trust" i was so pissed off. seperation of

That guy also kinda pissed me off 'cause he was just so set on gender sterotypes. "Women are crazy on their periods", "Us men are so persecuted 'cause society says we can't cry" Well you know what, my period doesn't make me crazy, and the men run the fucking world, and the society they created tells me that I can't do all kinds of fucking things. Like make the same wages just because I have a vaginia. And real men cry no matter what fucking society says. So fuck him. I didn't like his shirt either.
The thing that botherd me about his shirt was that its just assumes too much. Why should God give a fuck about America? Jesus wasn't from America. If God was a fair and just God then he should make it on individual bases with no partiality toward a particular place. If he's gonna be a supreme being, he can't be thinking that one country is better then the other. I think there are good people in every nation. So if this God guy was sitting up there, why should he be like, "That America is a good country, they are gonna be my favorite." I mean its just like...fucked up favortism or something.
And not everybody in America trusts in God. Maybe he does, but then his shirt should say "In God I trust".
I hate pro-life men too. I really couldn't go out with one, I don't believe. It would just piss me off too much. With me, that's just one issue you don't touch. Now I could go out with a Christian guy, as long as they respected my belifs I respect theirs too. But said guy being pro-life, I don't think I could respect.
I don't hate all Christians. Some are really nice. Some are complete hypocrites. Just like every other "group" on the planet.
I'm a hippie :-) I would hippie dance and go to woodstock and put flowers in my hair and protest and sing. I just wouldn't do drugs, 'cause I don't.

i meant that to be christianity* at that spot not christians in general thats why it said all sects. some are christians really nice and actually do respect your beleifs but i hate the hell out of their religion. i cant respect somthing that contradicts itself so much.
in my eyes theres a difference for hippies compared to tree huggers or environmentalists or even just plain old liberals. or maybe i should just refraze it to people who idolize cheech and chong, or drug addicts from the 60's that are still drug addicts, worthless peices of shit would do also.

I respect true christains, the ones that are not hypocrites. You know, christians itself means to be christ-like. But Jesus, he was actually a really cool guy. He was a big feminist, and he kind of stood up for all the misfits that got picked on by the church and government and stuff. I believe Jesus did exist, but he was just a nice normal average guy. A little ahead of his time, and a bit of a politician. But was not the son of a god or any other such thing.
The thing is, it just gets so twisted. Jesus, being that he stood up for the persecuted probably wouldn't mind the gays, or women. Those little old ladies in church who gossip and talk shit about how un- christian like that every one is being would probably not be on his good side. So believeing in a god and those true christians that care about other, and don't judge and actually try to be like what they believe, are fine by me. I can't hate that because at its heart, that message is the same as my own...peace and tolerance, even if they belive in that for a higher being, and I just believe it is right. Now, Christianity as an institution as opposed to a belif system is what I have issues with. Its what teaches that people shouldn't help homosexuals or that women are evil, or sex is bad, or any of that while its priests go on abusing little boys. That's what I hate.
But yeah, I was pretty sure you didn't that you hate everyone that is a christian. I was just responding :-)
Man, maybe it is that you see hippies as druggies, but I think they are completely cool. I'm the proud owner of three tie-dyed shirts and a Jefferson Airplane record. :-)
