On Friday I head to Auckland to run the playtest of my Call of Cthulhu (mini*) campaign - Against the Flame. Writing this adventure has been an interesting experience and makes me want to talk to other large campaign writers as to their experience of how a plot develops and what compromises and changes they made on the way. Add to this the changes at work, and I'm surprised I got the plot in as strong a shape as it is.
Looking forward to the playtest on Sunday, but also a little worried that - as they say - 'no plan survives contact with the enemy'...
* - Well it started as a 'mini-campaign', I think it is more going to be a macro-campaign by the time I've finished with it!
