Question, what did we ever use the ampersand (that little @ thing) for before email came along...I mean besides cartoon cursing.
And another thing, why is it that cheesed off librarians kinda turn me on? I mean, not when they're cheesed off at me, because that's just kinda scary, but I'm a member of library_mofo and other such wonderful communities and some of the posts just kinda drive me wild. Something about "prim and propers" going into a wild furious rage just does it for me. Ah, I'm sick.
Therefore, any one reading this journal who happens to be a male with long hair currently employed or volunteering at a library or bookstore, preferably within the age range of 18-26, please contact me immediately for naughty notes passed between copies of Jack London's Call of the Wild and the Picture of Dorian Grey. I'd like to be your Valentine and all.
Failing that, anyone who loves or adores me after a fashion and appreciates my humor can apply for the job.
-Love, Amy.
UPDATE: Apparently that little @ symbol isn't an ampersand, but I'm not the only one who makes that mistake. Thanks to redlami for the info.
