Eventually they arrived at some dingy building. It really didn’t look like a place Leeteuk would go to and it was beginning to frighten Changmin when he saw the other walking towards it. “C’mon it’s alright.” That’s all he said and Changmin knew it would be, he quickly caught up to him feeling more assured once he was by Leeteuk’s side. “Where a-” was as far as the older man let him speak before covering his mouth. He watched him walk up to a back door, knocking in code almost. There was a moment of silence before he heard knocking from the other side it surprised him because for a moment he was beginning to think that Teukkie had gone insane. Leeteuk paused before he knocked something else back, that’s when it hit him maybe they were talking in Morse code. Another pause and loud clunking noises came from behind the door before it opened.
“JUNGSU!” came a booming voice.
The man was taller than Leeteuk but he was slightly built and was very handsome, even though his features were that of a stern, gorgeous man he was more of a playful type than anything. “Yunnie~” Leeteuk said excitedly. Yunnie? What kind of name is that? He snickered softly to himself, it made his nickname not sound as bad as he’d thought.
Just as Leeteuk was going to move on after playing a brief game of catch up Changmin was stopped by the other. “Whoa, wait who’s this Jungsu?” The slightly shorter man looked him up and down, apparently not liking the way Changmin looked because his glare never ceased.
“Oh, I’m sorry Yunnie!” he gasped. That was when Changmin confirmed that the other man really was an airhead to have forgotten about him so easily. “This is my new employee at the restaurant, Minnie,” he beamed.
“It’s actually Shim Changmin,” he mumbled, rolling his eyes at Leeteuk’s childish grin.
“Hmmm,” he hummed, slowly running his eyes over him once more before nodding. “Nice to meet you Changmin.”
“Changmin, this is Yunnie.”
“Actually Yunho,” the older man grinned shaking his head. “Go on ahead.”
“Thank you~” Teukkie smiled brightly before kissing Yunho on the cheek, grabbing Changmin’s hand and leading him away.
“Have fun~”
For some reason Changmin had a feeling that that phrase had a different meaning to it.
The two moved down many halls and rounded countless corners and down many stairs before coming to a pair of double doors. Leeteuk pushed them open and Changmin’s jaw dropped, if possible, it would have hit the floor. The dingy old building was actually an underground club and an elaborate one at that.
“You may wanna close your mouth before you catch a lot of unwanted attention, love,” his hyung said sweetly as he pushed Changmin’s jaw shut. Leeteuk grabbed a hold of the taller boy’s hand again and lead him down to the bar. “Hyukkie~!” He called to the bartender or at least that’s who turned around when the older man yelled for him over the music.
Changmin gazed around, he was beginning to wonder how the loud music wasn’t heard from outside when he heard, “TEUKKIE!!!!” A squeal that almost burst Changmin’s eardrums or at least he thought it did. He watched the bartender run past them and then around the long bar to lunge at Leeteuk for a hug. “How have you been?” The other burst, jumping up and down as he hugged him excitedly like an excited little puppy that’s missed its master.
“I’ve been great how have you been?”
“Good~ thank you,” He gave him a gummed grin that made his eyes disappear into slits. “So~ new boyfriend?” he asked turning to Changmin.
“No!” Leeteuk laughed, “This is my new employee from the restaurant, Changmin or Minnie.”
Changmin bowed his head slightly to the other and the other did the same in return. “I’m Hyukjae or Eunhyuk...or just Hyukkie.” He laughed. Changmin gave him a slight smile in return. “Very cute.”
“Thank you.”
“Oh~ this one’s got a sense of humor,” Hyukjae shook his finger at him, “You may want to hold onto this one Teukkie.”
Leeteuk rolled his eyes and sighed with a bit of laughter behind it. “So~ where’s your other half?”
“You mean Hae or Min?”
The eldest chuckled, “Hae”
“He’s working in the back. Ya’ know the usual.”
Teukkie nodded and before he could say anything else someone desired Hyukjae’s attention. “Oh! Better get back to work. I’ll talk to you later.” The two watched him run back around and slide down the way towards his customer, leaning against the counter and putting on his cute charm to bring up his chances of getting a tip.
“Excuse him...”
Changmin shook his head. “It’s alright.”
“So did you want to talk?”
“Well, I don’t know if I’m supposed to say anything or not but...” Changmin began retelling what had happened at KyuHenWook’s apartment.
“Man, you had quite an eventful morning,” Leeteuk whistled.
“Tell me about it,” Changmin groaned.
“Here ya go~” Hyukjae said, winking at the two and before Teukkie could protest he put his hand up, “It’s on the house.”
Leeteuk shrugged, mouthing to the other a ‘Thank You’ while Changmin stared at the alcohol. “Hyung...you do know I’m underage right?”
“Yeah, so~”
“You don’t-”
“Don’t worry about it...c’mon you’re really tense it’ll help loosen you up.” Leeteuk beamed, patting Changmin’s shoulder.
The boy stared at it for another second before grabbing it and chugging half of it down, almost choking on the bitter liquid. And he didn’t stop there...Changmin kept going eventually getting up to five and then six. This kid can actually hold a lot of liquor for being so precautious at first, Teukkie thought. Half way through his sixth one Changmin suddenly broke down, sobbing, curling his arms around his head before looking up wearily and not to mention drunk at Leeteuk. That’s when the elder was beginning to regret letting him even start drinking.
Changmin couldn’t help himself he began to babble about what was bothering him, mostly Yesung’s name came out of his mouth while Siwon’s name was being praised and Leeteuk found out how they met and slowly began to think that maybe it was a good idea after all. “He’s soooooo handsome~” Changmin mused loudly. “I wish...I could-” hiccups, “could have him...this issss one of...the few times...I’ve wanted to be...someone else.”
“You mean you want to be Yesung?”
Changmin nodded his head sluggishly, staring at his beer bottle putting the curve of the bottle to his lips and realizing that there wasn’t any more, he sighed. “Yesung...doesn even take Shhhhiwonnie seriously...I thin they’ve...already...done it, but...at the ssssame time...I donn think so...”
“Why?”
“Cuz! Shiwon didn’t look happy...when I saw him...”
Leeteuk nodded. He was beginning to understand now, Changmin likes Siwon, while Siwon loves Yesung who still, or rather thinks he loves Young Woon and supposedly only likes Siwon as a friend yet he can’t seem to let Siwon go even if he’s not reciprocating his love. Leeteuk shook his head, all of the romantic mayhem was beginning to make his head hurt.
“Teukkie~?” Changmin called in a sing song voice.
“Yes?” the older man turned to see the other slowly lean his head against his shoulder and said nothing else. Leeteuk slowly rubbed his back. “Hey,” he said softly, “Why don’t you come home with me? It’d be really irresponsible of me if I just left you at your place and I’d rather not let anyone else we know see you like this.”
Changmin slowly nodded, hardly comprehending what the other had said but agreed upon it anyway. So Leeteuk eventually gathered the taller boy and half carried him outside with Yunho’s help, saying bye to his friends on the way out.
