Update - parents' house now free of under-fives. Fun to have around, but really exhausting! I'm so glad I don't have to see 4.30am again for a while.

Just came back from baby/dog-sitting - great time, the baby didn't make a sound and the dog was lovely. He's usually very hyper, but he lay quiet, took his biscuit nicely and let me watch my film in peace.
