The Lazarus Gap

Y'know, I miss really good fic. Don't get me wrong - I'm in a lot of fantastic fandoms right now and they're all doing good things, but I miss the epics in the Stargate vein - the big hurt/comfort fandoms that really knew how to stick a knife through your heart and then kiss it all better.

I was reading the latest part of unreckoned and I just knew I had to have more! So, I went to my old recs list and rediscovered The Lazarus Gap by Dolimir.

It's about a Lex whose father, aiming for Chloe, manages to blow him up. Lex is left paraplegic with traumatic amnesia. After some more upset, he ends up in a little church in Gotham, hiding from a world he doesn't want anymore under the name 'Joseph Kent'. Then, a mysterious stranger called Jerome turns up and...well, read it. Seriously, read it - I laughed, I cried, and I squeed myself crazy.

*sigh* I miss the old days.
