Post of Finale Squee
Pretty much lifted straight from my jackxianto post...but it must be done...

Of course, first thought - people who don't watch Doctor Who must be reallly confused by now!
My new favourite non-Janto ship is Captain Jack Harknesses. Because, yeah, love. That was so tender and beautiful (though I'm not sure I like all this 'I love no one' thing).
Ianto shot Owen, thereby channelling the thoughts of fans everywhere. Hurrah! The 'part-time shag' comment wasn't quite what we thought (not realistion, just dirt-slinging), but who cares really?
Rhys died! It was so sad and I was really upset there, and then they fixed everything, so that's all okay.
And of course...why I watch this program!
The Janto, on the whole, was AMAZING! Ianto's desperation to get him back, defending him to Owen - of course, he then betrays him along with the rest of them. But when Jack's shot, it's Ianto who goes over to him in shock and then that scene when he's all teary and sniffs the coat (I cried. And screamed. A lot.)And then the I'm-here-now cuddle followed by the I'm-alive kiss. *sigh*
One (fairly major) quibble - it blatantly should've been Ianto who kissed Jack back to life. And this is not just from a ship point of view: if we take it that Jack kissed Ianto back to life in 'Cyberwoman' by use of the Time Vortex (which we can be fairly certain is what defeated Big Monster Dude and caused the immortality), then Ianto must be carrying a portion of Time Vortex, and therefore could've shared it with Jack.
Instead, it was Gwen. Which makes no sense at all.
But still - SQUEE!!!
