Midwest Haunter's Con Columbus Ohio June 13th thru 15th.
Yep, Jayn & I are goin' to Ohio for the haunted house convention. It's my 1st haunted house con, so it'll be mighty interesting.

We'll be working at a haunted house that Fri., so the Vampire Ball is kinda' out... ~sob~ I REALLY wanted to go to that & do full out Vampire drag, but I really can't if I'm gonna' be workin' a house with an Asylum theme... =:-{ I do have my crazy character already ready, tho.
The bone is my "baby"! LOL!!! That's from Netherworld (www.fearworld.com) 2003, I believe. I've been involved with Netherworld since 1997, when they did the 1st haunted house up in Kennesaw, Ga.
Anyway, that's 1 character I'll be doin'. But that's for "work". (& I can't believe we got "rooked" into working. >:-/ ) Craig was sayin' I could still do the Vampire Ball, but the make-up I wanted to do for that is about a 2 hour job, (maybe more...) & if we're workin' 'til 10 or 11, there's no way... =:-( Then Sat night is the Monsters Ball & I'll be wearin' the Collector.

But, I'm a little nerved out. Hell, I'm a lot nerved out!!! =:-z Jayn informed me yesterday that since Roy, our Netherworld Make-up artist isn't going, she & I are the make-up team!!!! What, what, WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!! >8-0 Holy Shit!!! I'm kinda' scared!!! I haven't done this kind of make-up in years! I only had 1 airbrush make-up class & I'm freakin' the Hell out!!!! I mean, I know latex & derma wax, but that takes forever & we won't have forever... I hope I can remember enough about the airbrushing to make it work. I mean, I've got down the how, but I wish I would've had a chance to paint a person!!! Yeah, I always get anxious about my work. Doesn't everyone?!?!?! LOL! I mean, I'm o.k. I just feel like I'm rusty. & Old... =:-/ I'm just glad Jayn will be there! She's REAL good with the airbrush & she's the 1 that taught me 1/2 my make-up skills! =;-] So we should be fine. I'm just nervous.... typical..... ~rolling eyes~
Jayn did scope out some restaurants around the hotel & she found a Buca de Beppo about a block away!!! =:-D That's probably our favorite Italian restaurant!!! The food is really good & the atmosphere is better!!! LOL!!! 1 of these days we'll have a group just the right size for the Pope (The " Pope-AH roooom"!!! LOL!!!) room. All the pix are of the various Popes! =:-] The whole restaurant is decorated with Italian related stuff everywhere!!! It's a hoot! =:-} So that'll be cool. (The 1st time I ate at Buca was at Star Wars Celebration II in Indianapolis...with Jayn...)
So I'll be traveling North come Wed. morning. It'll be a fun trip simply because I'll be with Jayn & we're goofy together. =:-} LOL!
& in less than 3 monthes, DRAGONCON!!!! >:-D YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!! It's gonna' be such a kick ass year!!! >;-D I guess I'm ready... I've got Traya, my Royal Guard, Scanner Tech, Attil for Sun night & I don't know what for Sat night. Or Fri night, even tho I won't be up too terribly late Fri night as the parade dawns early Sat... (Step off is 10am...) But Sat night & Sun night, it's on!!! >;-D
I guess I should start packing for Ohio, hunh? =:-p LOL!
