Ramblings....
Yeah, just a day off. The 2nd day off actually. I got a little bit done around here. Got my laundry done, washed the dishes, took somemore trash out & went to the Post Office.
It got kinda' warm today... =:-/ I am sooooooooooooo not diggin' that! >:-p Yeah, every year I bitch, moan & complain about the hot weather...
If there was a place that didn't get 80+ in the summer & stayed mostly above 0 in the winter, I'd move!!! Well, I probably wouldn't, 'cause I couldn't afford it! But if I could, I might!!! LOL!!!
Mon was boring as Hell at work, but Tue was ok. I sure enjoyed my days off this week. Tomorrow it begins again. LOL!
The Pecan tree branch that hangs over my skylight is leafing out. There was yellow pollen everywhere last week, but the rain Sat washed most of it away.
Jayn's been workin' like a fiend on the haunted house. But she, & everyone else, have made good progress. I hope I can get back up there this month or next & get some costuming done.=;-] I've still got 2 to get done before D*C. But 1, the Imperial uniform will be done in a day. =:-}
Jayn got a bunch of sculpting stuff today, so she can get started on her Bib head re-do!=:-D & she's got to get a move on her Tusken, Biker Scout & Royal Guard, too!!!=:-p LOL!!! I need to get up there & motivate her! LOL!! She's real excited about casting & sculpting her head, tho!=:-}
I gave in to my sweet tooth yesterday. I had to go down to Xocolatl & get the SW cake pans & the yummy chocolate smells wafting out of the kitchen persueded me to get 1 of Scott's decadent "turtle" brownies. Lucious milk chocolate, caramel & white chocolate drizzled on top of a brownie filled & topped with Pecans! I nuked it for about 10 seconds & it was perfectly delicious!!! Food of the Godz, I'm tellin' ya!>:-D
Xocolatl is defintely a treat for downtown. =:-] They always have the best goodies! & made fresh, in house!!!=;-]
I might go see a movie or 2 down at the Capitol this Sun. They're showin' Juno & Book of Secrets. Dinner & 2 movies! LOL!!! Maybe...
I really do need to do some more house cleaning... My table behind the kitchen cabinet is full of crap! >:-/ It needs to get put away! That table is nothing but a "catch all"!! >:-[ Like I need another 1 of those!!! My entire house is like that!!!=:-/
I'm glad I got the printer hooked back up, tho.=:-] I've used it a good bit in the past week or so.=;-} I'll probably need some more ink cartridges in a week or 2... =:-p
I haven't heard from Craig since I wrote him that "nasty" email. I just feel ignored as a friend. It's like he's got a whole new set of friends that doesn't include me... =:-{ & him getting into "dire straights" again, in less than a year. =:-/ There's no call for that!!! >:-x I don't know what he does with his $$$$, but he needs to put more of it towards his house!!! & Jayn still doesn't have her drawings!!! & she paid for them over 2 years ago!!! He's finished I don't know how many comissions, but not her's. >:-/ What's up with that?!?!?!?!?! She's supposed to be 1 of his best friends!!! >:-p It just aggravates me.... So now he's all pissed off at me. =:-[ Oh well, we've been friends 20+ years, we'll weather thru this.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm, mmmmmmmmmmmmm, I just lit some of the best Patchouli incense!!! I got it up in Atlanta, at Junkman's Daughter last month. It smells soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!!! =:-D
