Might change my sign-up a few more times before midnight. Ahem.
As one does. I have strictly forbidden myself from even thinking about it anymore. Now I'm just looking obsessively at the page with requested and offered fandoms.

3 favorite relationships
- Anabel-Jamie-Mae. This could've been just Jamie-Mae, because they're great together, but their mother coming through for them was one of my favourite things about the second book.
- Nick-Alan-Jamie-Mae-Sin in a pile of stay together and be happy please and thank you. Seb can visit. (Depending on what happens in Surrender, he can stay!)
- Jamie-Nick, they are hilarious.

3 favorite characters
- Nick. Deadpan snarker is fun, and I KNOW I KNOW liking the emotionally constipated killer, but ... he tries so hard to love...
- Mae. She grew on me hugely in Covenant, so determined and fun and plotting.
- Anabel. Erm, another emotionally constipated one, but this time only sort-of a killer! She doesn't get her kids, but she tries, and she doesn't have to change her uptightness and distance to love them fiercely.

3 of my favorite moments
- When Nick is released, and then returns to his body in the first book.
- Anabel and Nick sword-fighting in the back yard.
- Ugh, just the entire ending of Covenant (aside from Anabel's death, that was ridiculous). It's traumatic and a mess and intense, and all the characters have accomplished huge amounts and still need to do much more.

3 reasons I like/love that fandom
- Oh wow ... I'm not in this fandom.
- But okay, it's really great how Rees Brennan writes snippets from the world and posts them free online.
- And there's a fic for just about every ship, which is good, because I find it easy to ship a lot of combinations. Probably up to me to do Nick/Anabel, though.

I'm not sure why I'm not really in the fandom (as in: fanworks) part of these books either, but um, yes. I have feelings about the characters and stuff, but not much of an inclination to either read or write fic. Do love the 'cookies' and snippets.

That short story about them was so great! It's a pity Brennan isn't going to do any more of those stories, but of course she can't join fandom for her own books...

The third book hasn't shown up here yet. Sometimes I just throw my hands up in despair for all the depressing ways the characters could potentially end up. The Demon's Lexicon world is often so bleak! So now I shove them all in a beautiful countryside cottage in my head.

PS there is a genfic daemons AU (like with the His Dark Materials series) for this fandom: A Method of Soul-Talking. SO GOOD. In that quasi-incestuous way, but i'm pretty sure that if you can handle Supernatural this fic isn't on a level that would bother you.
