If I didn't know better I'd swear Kyoko was through-and-through lesbian. She wants to look at Ren's naked bod TO MAKE A BETTER DOLL OF HIM... Sorry Ren, she really doesn't see you the way you'd like. XD At least he's well aware of that. Also, that is a really admirable work ethic. in a somewhat unbalanced way, but still. And I love her super hostess skills, saving the day once again...!
Ren's remorse for his past is actually striking. His angst bored me before but jeez, his face after smacking that punk around - he looks like he's on the border of Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. It's seriously a jackass move to get him to play a part that's basically the life that he refuses to live again - although probably easier than getting him into therapy. Shoving Kyoko at him at this point AND putting her in that outfit is bordering on outright cruelty. Lory, while a kind of genius, is a bastard ............. who looks pretty hot in a gangstar outfit, it must be admitted.
What's seriously awkward? When one of your dad's old buddies, who he still talks to on occasion, applies for a vacancy at your office - that's awkward as hell. It's rather terrible to say "I hope he doesn't get the job" but IF HE DOES, aargh, aargh.
