So we've learned that Yammy has a puppy and pulls down walls for approx. no reason. Conclusion: Bleach is better when you have several chapters to read at a go.
Eyeshield now has a character legitimately called BAD WALKER and I've decided he's my new favourite just. for. that. If he turns out to be called Brad or something useless like that it would be tragic.
Panther and Sena, finally face to face: AND THEN THEY MAKE OUT--
wait I was kidding I didn't actually expect romantic tropes to start playing out
Musashi and Hiruma are so married. dang. I miss Mamori. And Kurita. They can all be married. AND KURITA IS SO CUTE guarding the suits like that, all fired up!
So Agon driving is sort of hot. Or maybe a lot. I love the cop cars showing up at the end! And Agon's sort of grudging vaguely-friendly-in a way comment on Hiruma gives me a whole new appreciation of him, and them, and I love this chapter.
And Hiruma. I never actually used to like him, as he was never really a character for me. He was a way for awesome things to happen in the series. But the mangaka slowly made him human and gave him foibles and now, in the end, he is amazing. And he wants to be in the NFL and I. Love.
So shaving Agon's head is pretty priceless. BITCH IT IS ON NOW. And Taka has vanity! Cute. Agon is awesome after that but GAOU!! ♥ Whatta freak.
But man, I agree with svaro. They're rushing the hell out of these chapters. Schultz was cute at the end there; couldn't they at least make it one chapter per match? Eyeshield's been doing well for so long, they could at least let it end gracefully. (Whether 'they' are the mangaka or the editors.)
You know what's awesome to listen to while reading Eyeshield? The Soviet Union anthem. It's like a stately chorus of "WEEE WILL ROCK YOU!!"
