has anyone else heard of Spamalot? does anyone else want to see it? i am curious to know
went with dad to the movies tonight, totally unprepared, so we got there, looked at the board with the showtimes on it, and then had about two decent movie choices. by decent, i do not include sky high, which sadly enough i actually considered. i might rent it though... kurt russell's usually pretty good. but i digress.
RIGHT, so we debated between that one with jessica biel and jamie foxx, about pilots (eurgh :/) and the island, with ewan mcgregor and scarlett johanssen. the island won, not because it looked interesting but simply because i like ewan mcgregor and scarlett johanssen.
we ate dinner at champp's in a record time of twenty minutes then got a candied apple (s'mores- chocolate, graham cracker crust, marshmallows, caramel) at rocky mountain chocolate factory.
at first it started off slow, but SURPRISE SURPRISE, it was REALLY GOOD! so linnie the movie critic is officially eating her discriminating taste, if not her words. not quite batman, but hey, what is?
we're going to see wedding crashers tomorrow, and hopefully find a gift for mom. i haven't told dad about that part yet, but i'll make it work out. it sort of has to, seeing as her birthday's august 4th.
ooh what is today? shoot i could really be cutting it close. which makes me feel really guilty. hot damn i better have enough money... and not have to ask her for my maid service money early... AHHHHHH
tired, so it's off to bed with me. wish me-- i don't know, SOMETHING like luck or happiness, regarding another night with Dad (why do i effing agree to, or, hell, plan things like this?) and having enough funds for mom's present.
LOVE! PEACE! SWEET DREAMS!
p.s.- i went through an old journal of mine today with alot of poetry in it. i read some of it to my mom and she just sort of looked off and zoned out. i'm so glad i'm out of the past, that i'm not twelve years old and writing about how unhappy i am. no joke, i feel really blessed to have found light at the end of that tunnel.
