Lincoln People...
Yay!! Gary and I will be in town 1 week from today!!!( I'm super excited, in case you couldn't tell by the gratuitous exclamation marks).
So we're still planning to go to VI Wednesday night (probably late-ish, we have insane amounts of wedding-related stuff to do that day), so hopefully those of you who will be in town will be able to come hang out with us.
Also, I have a favor to ask of anyone who still owns a VCR. Here' s the deal: I still don't watch a lot of TV, but Tuesday night is my TV night. I have a whole lineup of shows that I watch, and I would really rather not miss them, or at least not *all* of them. But, Tuesday night Gary and I are going to see Morrissey (which is way better than my Tuesday night TV date, I gotta say), so I was hoping that maybe someone or someones in Lincoln could tape my shows, and then I can watch them Friday during the Husker game, and give you back the tape that evening. My shows include Standoff at 7 (it's not amazing, but it has potential), Veronica Mars at 8 (which is by far the most imortant of the 3), and Law and Order: SVU at 9 (despite the fact that it is law and order and I will eventually see this episode rerun 8 billion times--to quote Laura "It's Law and Order, if you haven't seen it at least 10 times, you haven't seen it enough.")
So, let me know if A) You will be around Wednesday night, and B) You can maybe tape a show or two for me?
