To Whom it May Concern:
While I appreciate that your greed leads you to try to take more of my money, I respectfully decline your offer to increase my already exorbitant 29% interest rate to an extortionist 32.24%. In other words, I reject the change in my current credit terms.

I gotta say, I know it doesn't really do anything (other than keep my disgustingly high interest rate where it is instead of going higher), but it makes me feel better.
FYI, I have no balance on this card. My other Chase card they tried to pull the same thing (although not so high a rate, still bad, but not THIS bad) because my balance was too high. So a high balance is no good, and a low balance is no good...know why? 'Cause they're bastards.
