Title: Will You Be Mine? Ch. 9
Description: Sophie and Sian have been long time friends, but at some point in the friendship Sophie started to develop feelings for Sian. The only people that know about Sophie's feelings for Sian is her sister Rosie and close friend Chesney and Sophie is planning to keep it that way because she doesn't want to lose her friendship with Sian. (People's thoughts will be in blue and conversation will be in purple).

Rosie P.O.V:
A very concerned Kevin and Sally are in the kitchen chatting about what could be going on with Sophie. When first got home she didn’t know that anyone was home so when she walked through the door she fell down one her knees and started sobbing until her father all of a sudden came from the kitchen to where Sophie was, and when Sophie noticed her father in the room she bolted to her bedroom. Rosie is also in the kitchen listening in on her parents conversation.
Sally: “Kevin I’m really worried about Sophie she still has not came out of her room, I wonder what has upset her so much?”
Kevin: “I really don’t know Sal I tried to talk to her when I saw the state she was in , but when I was about to ask her what was wrong she just bolted to her room.”
Sally: “I really hope that she she’s ok and not in trouble maybe I should go check on her and get to the bottom of this.”
Sally is about to leave the kitchen to see about Sophie when she is stopped by Rosie standing in he way.
Rosie: “Mum just leave her be the last thing she needs right now is you barging into her room and demanding to know what is going on.” “I really love my mum but sometimes she can really be nosey, she always has to stick her nose in other peoples business adding her two cents when she has nothing to do with it. I will not have her upsetting Sophie she has enough issues to deal with she doesn’t need this.”
Sally: “ Rosie do you know what’s going on with her? Because if you do then you need to tell me right now!!” She states determined to get to the bottom of this.
Rosie: “See what I mean she can’t just leave her alone and let her handle her own problems, she always has to come in and play someone’s savior.” “It’s nothing for you to be concerned for, so just leave her alone.” I state getting into my mothers face determined to keep her from going and upsetting Sophie.
Sally: “No I will not leave her alone I have the right to know what’s going on in my daughters life, so you better just tell me what you know or I going to push you out of the ways and get the truth out of Sophie my own way.” she says not willing to back down.
Rosie: “ Did I forget to say how self-righteous she is? Man why won’t she just listen for once?” “You better not!” not willing to back down neither.
Sally: “I refuse to allow you to tell me what I will or will not do.” state angrily.
Without another word Sally push pass Rosie, rushes us the stairs and bust into Sophie’s room. When she enters the room she sees Sophie curled up in a ball on her bed crying her eyes out. The state Sally sees Sophie in just breaks her heart so she walks over to Sophie bed and sit wonder what on earth could be going on with her daughter.
Sally: “Oh my poor baby tell me what’s got you so upset.”
Sophie: “Mum I really don’t feel like talking about it with you so could you please leave?”
At this moment an angry Rosie rushes into the room, but her temper calms down when she see that state that Sophie is in.
Sally: “No love I can’t leave you when I see you so broken like this, so just tell me what’s going on now, so I can help you.”
Sophie: “MOM!!! I really don’t want to talk about this with you, so could you just leave, PLEASE I’m begging you to just let this go.” she states a little angry as more tears fall down her face.
Rosie: “Seeing Sophie like this is so heartbreaking I wish mom will just listen to her and let this go.” “Yeah mom just leave her alone your just causing her to become more upset by trying to pressure her.”
Sally: “OK fine I will leave, but just to let you know I will find out everything eventually so don’t think that your out the woods yet.”
A frustrated Sally gets up from Sophie’s bed and leaves the room slamming the door behind her.
Rosie: “She always have to get the last word in and why does she feel the need to threaten us in order to get her way? At this point I don’t even care anymore I’m so concerned about Sophie right now.” “I’m so sorry Soph I tried to stop her but she wouldn’t listen to me.”
Sophie: “Thanks Rosie I know how mom can be sometimes.”
Rosie goes and sits on Sophie’s bed pulling Sophie into her arms as Sophie starts to break down again.
Rosie: “Shh, come on Soph I really hate seeing you so broken so if you want you can tell me why your upset or we can just sit here quietly it doesn’t matter to me I just want to be here for you.” I say really worried for my sister.
Sophie: Taking a deep breath Sophie decides to tell Rosie everything hoping it will help her feel better if she opened up to someone. “Well to start off going over to Ryan’s apartment was the biggest mistake of my life, I don’t know what made me think that I was going to have a good time but I don’t know what to feel anymore Rosie I just feel so lost.”
Rosie: “Sophie just tell me what happened I can‘t help you until I know what the problem is.” “What the fuck could have Sian did to her to upset her so much? I can’t wait to get my hands on Sian for upsetting my sister like this, but I need to calm myself for Sophie‘s sake right now .”
Sophie: “When I went over there Ryan and Sian had invited Ryan’s friend Ben over kind of like a blind date for me.”
Rosie: “Your kidding me right what made them do that I though the whole point of you going over to Ryan’s was to allow Sian to spend time with both you and Ryan?”
Sophie: “I though so too, but Sian said like she didn’t want me feeling like a third wheel or some shit like that, so after awhile Ryan and Sian left the room because Sian wanted me and Ben to get to know each other better and they would get some movies which I was kind of upset at first because I didn’t want to spend time with Ben but he was a really nice guy and I had fun talking to him.”
Rosie: “So what could have happened if your not upset with the Fact they tried to set you up with Ben?”
Sophie: “Well that’s what I was getting to but u kind of just interrupted me, so as I was saying Ben and I were talking and we started to wonder what was taking Ryan and Sian so long with getting movies so I decided to see what the hold up was.”
Rosie: “I hope they weren‘t fucking one another because if she saw that she is most likely scarred for life. I bet Ryan is a horrible in bed he may ask cocky all the time but I think he doesn‘t have a clue of what he is doing when it comes to the bedroom.” “Please don’t tell me that you caught them having sex?!!!”
Sophie: “Rosie!!! Stop interrupting me! she states getting fustrated, so I headed towards Ryan’s room and I saw to door was cracked and I saw Ryan down on one knee proposing to Sian which just broke me heart well I thought that my heart was broken but that was until I found out their secret.”
Rosie: “I so sorry Soph but Sian doesn’t deserve you your to good to be hung up on her you know that right?” Hoping Sophie realizes how wonderful she really is and that Sian is just missing out on something great.
Sophie: “Rosie if you don’t let me finish I . . . ” she states angrily.
Rosie: “Ok ok I’m sorry, continue.” I state surrendering.
Sophie: “I found out that Ryan got Sian pp- p-pregnant.” and she breaks down crying again barely able to get it all out.
Rosie: “WHAT!!!!!! What the fuck was going on in her head when she decided to fuck Ryan without a condom? That is dumb as hell. I’m so sorry Soph I know how much you love her. What did she say when you confronted her?”
Sophie: “I didn’t confront her when it all came crashing down and she knew that I knew everything I ran, but she did come running after me trying to explain everything but I wouldn’t let her. I’m tried of my heart being broken by her and now she won’t stop trying to call or text me. My life is so FUCKED up!”
Rosie: “I know you going to hate me for saying this but maybe you could just move on from Sian? If it pains you this much you shouldn’t keep continuing to put yourself through this, but if you really want Sian in your life then you need to talk to her and tell her how you feel. What’s the worst that can happen? If she doesn’t feel for you what you feel for her then you can cut your loses and move on but if she feels that same for you then you can cut through all this bullshit and be together.”
Sophie: “I don’t think I can do either at this point I don’t feel like talking or seeing her any time soon I don’t even want to be in anything involving her at this point, so my plan for right now is to do nothing and live for myself.”
Rosie: “But are you going to be happy? You need to just resolve everything instead of hiding from it.”
Sophie: “Thanks Rosie I will think about everything you said and put it to consideration, but right now I’m really tired and I think I just want to sleep right now.”
Rosie: “Ok so I will leave you to it. I love you Soph and you can come talk to me no matter what ok.”
Sophie: “I love you too Rosie and I will always come to you when I really need to I know I can count on you to always there for me.”
Rosie leave Sophie’s room closing the door behind her leaning up against it.
Rosie: “I really hope she knows what she is doing.”
