Solving For The Mathematical Value Of "Hella"

Recently at work we have been having a discussion occasionally about what exact number "Hella" is. This started when Gary commented "Man, I've opened Hella boxes today." to which I asked "How many is that?" starting our conversation in a much more intellectual direction than we usually go. At first we thought that we had a very solid answer in "3" ( Read more... )

I have to say that is hella awsome. It makes me sad that the word Hella as almost left my vocabulary. Instead I now tend to use Wicked, moch more common 'round these parts. However I had noticed one major flaw in replacing the word Wicked for the word Hella...I was explaining this the other day at work when Hella came out of my mouth and confused my friend who had never heard the glorious word...My initial explination was that Hella could be used in any sense that wicked can be. Hella cool = Wicked Cool, although more likely wicked awsome or wicked pissa (say that like pisser but without the r...there is no r in the Boston alphabet). Anyway, it then occerd to me that Hella is a far better word than Wicked...You wouldn't say that you were attacked by wicked tigers...That could also be a wicked tigers...unless the tigers were infact wicked and not just tigers doing what they do...So I think that if you have trouble quantifying hella, you could split into seprate definitions...I mean a word that is THAT extensive with it's usages is a dificult word to settle on one definition...

To sum up...Hella is just a Wicked Awsome word!
