You were in Vancouver?

You should've swung through Portland!

Yeah I was - but we were there for less than a day, really. Then we got on a train to Toronto. I do need to swing by Portland sometime in the next few years, though. :)

Oh yeah, Canada uses its own currency. How 'bout that. (Main difference: they have coins for 1 and 2 dollars. Other than that they have the same sorts of bills and coins - 5, 10, 20, 50, etc. dollar bills, and pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters. Not too complicated.)

That made me laugh.

Have I ever mentioned that my dad uses ski poles when he rollerblades, to keep his balance? Also, I am contemplating bringing my rollerblades next year (instead of Gertrude, my sister's bicycle, who I am not very fond of).

Yes! Bring rollerblades! In fact, are there any nice flat stretches or areas in Chapel Hill? There are way too many hills over here.. perhaps I'll be up for a Robertson bus fun-filled field trip (assuming the bus is still running, which it may not be since school's out..). Ah well.

Ummm... it's pretty hilly, mostly. But the downtown area is mostly ok, and the greenways are prety flat, too.

I'm glad Canada was fun. Did you go with people, or by yourself?

I'm reading Catch 22 right now too. I'm enjoying it. I hope you are too.
