Football Woes (and Pics)

Sooo... An update. And seeing as the Champions League is starting this week (well, the qualifiers don't really count, do they?), I'll talk about -what else?- football.

Cut for the sad ramblings of a fan )

Now that I think of it, I should probably also thank you for saying Arsene is sexy. It means there's a chance I'm sane. A slight chance, but still.

Hehe, I think he's quite handsome, he's got style, a sexy accent (well, fact! *g*) and while he's shortspoken most of the time he can also be really fierce. He's my all time favorite coach, even ahead of Klinsi. :)

As for Kolo, he's immense. It's true that he looks very sweet and he's a tough but clean defender, never plays dirty, always tries to play with his head. But he's so incredibly well-built, what can I say? And Jens/Kolo? Aw!

Yeah, the sweet thing about him is his face and his style of play - because fairplay just rocks - but his body.. *sighs* and Kolo/Jens is interesting because even though Kolo is way younger than Jens, I'm sure he's got more strength. Yum. ;)

They do seem to communicate very well on the pitch, don't they ;).

Hihi.

Jens: *screams at Kolo*
Kolo: *screams back at Jens*
Jens and Kolo = scoring chance killers of hell

Freddie... Sigh. He's (not in the fangirly sense) perfect. Just, literally, perfect. And I've always loved the way he gets flushed as the game progresses, it was the first thing I noticed about him about 6 years ago (when I was a wee Gooner).

Yeeees, the wonderful thing about him is that you can just adore him in an - like you said - totally un-fangirly way. He's perfect but in such a natural and effordless way, no matter if its punky black and red hair or a shaved head. He doesn't even try! I mean, Becks is okay but he tries too hard. Freddie is just natural beauty and sweetness and I can say this without getting stuck to my keyboard by suggar glue. *g* And he doesn't care what people think about him, he's clever and a real fighter on the pitch. What a combination.. ♥
Btw, do you know this pic of Freddie? It's one of my favorites..

And yes, Arsenal is Jens' club (and the most amiable collection of football weirdos anyways.. I luuuurve The Arse! Hurray to beautiful football and fairplay.. they just need to score now..) so naturally it's ok to post picspams, news and infos and I was under the impression that we have indeed some gooners in the com. :) And the more football rambling the better! I keep my fingers crossed for Wednesday.. *worries*

PS: I'd get rid of the other watermarks as well but I guess that would take me two days. ;) But at least you've got unmarked Jens/Thierry!huggling now.

:D Agreed on all counts, especially on the style (doesn't he look fantastic in his suits?). He's so... French, but in a good way (heh). And he looks (and is) extremely intelligent, how can we not appreciate that? Frankly, I think we find him attractive in part because he's such a great coach, he's been with the team for so many years and he's basically made us what we are *loves*.

Exactly! You just described everything I love (and all Gooners love) about Freddie. ♥ indeed.

o.O I hadn't seen it before, thank you! Aw, he's so good-looking. And yet, as you said, we appreciate him more for his fighting spirit *loves again*.

"At least"? It's more than enough. :)

I'm off to re-post the picspam now! Perhaps it will get a conversation about The Arsenal going. And after Wednesday... Erm... I must say, between AEK and Arsenal both playing away games (and AEK playing against AC Milan *eek*) I am a bit, well... concerned. Let's hope for the best.
