[She knew something was wrong. Maybe because all the things she has gone through since she arrived to Demeleier. She searched everywhere for Lord Battler everywhere, but as expected, she couldn't find him anywhere. She wished she could be more useful, or just kill the fae that made Lady Ange cry... But it was useless now.

She teleported herself to where she was, sightly touching the floor with her feet. She didn't want to bother her, but despite anything... Ange was her friend too, and friends are always there to endure everything.]

L-Lady Ange...

... Leviathan.

[ She doesn't turn around to look at the girl, her friend, just yet as she speaks up, her tone a bit softer than usual. She can't help but wonder just how much Leviathan knows, if she knows that Battler isn't in Demeleier anymore already.

She takes a deep breath to try to force her tone back to normal, but it just makes it shake more and she knows it's a futile effort. Besides.. Leviathan has already seen her at her worst either way, right? And yet.. she can't force herself to turn around just yet from where she's sitting on the edge of the dock. ]

Do you.. already know?

[She gently moves to hug her from behind. After all this long time, she has found out it seems to be best thing to comfort someone. She did with Ange, Souji... She just hoped this time would work again. She really believed in it, so the miracle would happen again, right?

At the question, she hides her face in Ange's hair. It takes her a moment to reply, assuming they were speaking about the same thing, and even if she was really slow, she wasn't stupid... Okay, she might look like it, but she's not.]

Yes... I checked it myself.

[ There is something nice about the touch, something comforting, something that reassures her that the other girl is right there with her, but at the same time.. The loss of Battler is too heavy on her mind. ]

At least then I won't have to explain it.

[ Her tone is low, a bit thick - she sounds like she could cry any moment now, and to be honest, she does rather feel like crying. But she doesn't want to cry, she can't let herself cry here in front of Leviathan. ]

[She's pretty aware that she will never replace Battler... But she wants to make sure that Ange feels safe in her arms.]

... It's fine to cry when one is sad, Lady Ange...

[Because, when she does it, she does it with a reason.]

I'm.. okay, Leviathan. [ But even as she says it, her voice is obviously strained still. To lose Battler, just when she had achieved what she thought to be the best possible scenario - with the exception of Bernkastel, but she could deal with that - for herself here.. ]

I guess I just wanted to sit here for a while, that's all.

... You don't have to cry for me. [ No, she can't ask something like that from her friend - and it's not like it would help much, she should just cry herself already and be done with it.

She stares down at the wooden dock. ]

Just.. stay here with me, okay..? [ And her voice is a bit more soft at that - almost vulnerable. ]

[She doesn't move at all from her stop, only holding Ange closer to her. If that what she wanted, then Leviathan respected it and did without hesitation. Still, she wonders if there is something else she can do for her...]

[ At that Ange leans a bit more into the touch, feeling somewhat grateful for the other girl's mere presence. Of course she came here to be alone, but.. she doesn't mind Leviathan being around as much. ]

[ She goes quiet for a few moments, content with just the silence. ]

Battler onii-chan went back to where he wanted to be, right..? At Beatrice's side..

I'm sure Lord Battler didn't want to leave Lady Ange here... Because everyone can be happy here, right...?
