Characters: Suzaku and Lelouch
Location: Outside the Town Hall
Time: 22 July, Evening.
Brief Summary: Suzaku waits outside the town hall for Lelouch, who he hasn't seen for weeks. It's raining heavily, and his friend has something important to tell him. The storm will bring a new storm of emotions as truths are revealed.

Suzaku's back was wet but he still leaned against the wall, the wind and rain falling hard around him. The town hall entrance was still in view, but he was not going back inside. Nunnally was safe now, as were most of the other residents. He had something else to do, he had to wait for Lelouch.
Where had his friend been? With Nunnally here he would have thought Lelouch would have been constantly at her side. What had the Britannian prince found out in his absence? Suzaku was worried, but there was nothing he could do about that feeling but face up to it.
With the heavy rain it was hard to see anyone approach, and Suzaku worried for Lelouch's health in this weather. He wasn't as physically able as Suzaku, and he might get sick.
"Lelouch," Suzaku muttered into the night. "I hope you're all right."
