I always seem to get depressed monday through wednesday.. every week. Maybe since I have class till 10:00 on Monday and Tuesday (and my friends have class till 10 on Wednesday) so I never end up seeing anyone, maybe it is because my mother always felt the strain of going back to work after the weekend while she was pregnant with me, maybe as a descendent of Huguenots I am bred to not like Mondays through Wednesday (cause maybe Huguenots didn't like Mondays through Wednesdays). Who knows? Whatever the reason, all I know is that something inside me doesn't like them.
I'm proud being the descendent of the Huguenots (as many contemporary ancestors of Huguenots are). Huguenot has come to be a term with the ideals of enduring honor and courage surrounding it. And that's a good thing.
I think it is important to celebrate where you came from. You may hate your past, but it has formed you into who you are (even if it was the hating of that place that formed you).
I like France, Huguenots, and Mifflin County. A lot. A whole lot. And now I'm a Pittsburgher and I'm hella proud of that as well. Mm.
Well, I just felt like talking for some reason. I believe I'm going to put in Capote and take to making my room seem a little more lived in. Happy Thursday and goodnight.
