Snow
Had a whole two days of it in the end - which is not what the weather man predicted. Unfortunately, everyone at site believed the weatherman - so after we all stayed away or indoors on the Thrusday, we trundled in through ice and snow on the friday. We were forced to close the site on the friday come lunch time and I barely made it back through the snow (they were closing the roads behind me!). Took four hours to complete an hour long journey. The weathermen were very shame faced and apologetic.
By the end of the weekend we were wondering what the fuss was about - rain on saturday got rid of the snow and we could drive down to bridgend no problem to look at churches. (the one at the Priory is a bit cold and gloomy, but the on in Merthyr Mawr is nice)....
