Dr. Who?
Melanie and her family love Dr. Who. I'm not as into the show as I was back in the '70s. The family plays a game with a toy Tardis that I enjoy, though. It's called Hide the Tardis. LOL! Someone hides the plastic facsimile; then, whoever finds it, hides it yet again. This goes on for months.
For a while there we were Tardis-less because Parker took the one we had with him to college. It was a tad more realistic that the one we have now. In fact, I think the new one came in a McDonald's kid meal! That's the only thing that could explain the color. I found it yesterday morning in the pantry among the cans of soup and sardines.
In the cabinet between the plates and the gravy boat? Nah...
Maybe under the sink in front of the dishwasher pods? Nah...
Aha! In the empty decaf tea bag jar! Perfect!
It was right about then I realized, the toy was not a Tardis. Talk about disappointment! I guess one of the kids left it in the pantry and forgot it. :-(
