(no subject)
Oh man, I had the best shave ever today, I'm very pleased. Unfortunately I don't really have anything too cool to do so it's kind of going to waste.
There was a grad event thingy last night at the grad bar (Mike's Place) but it was pretty crappy and empty. There's another one this afternoon/evening doing a haunted walk of Ottawa and then Paddy Boland's. Hopefully the tour will go well, if not I'll bail on Paddy's. I'm not sure I'll get along terribly well with other grad students, which I think is the exact opposite of the positive psychology mind frame that I'm trying to practice. In any event I'll give it my best shot.
Tomorrow: Kingston for a few hours, then a couple other orientation events, should be good.
I'm off the 'green' for a while, I'm not sure but I think it might have been breaking my brain in a not so good manner, just a theory and I'll see how that turns out after a couple weeks off the stuff.
For now kinda bored, gonna go occupy myself with something. Perhaps a walk in the sun and some iced coffee beverage :-D *jealous of all the peeps doing frosh right now*
