So I was sitting in my friendly neighbourhood starbucks today and the people next to me were having a business meeting.  About ion bracelets.  It was quite humorous to hear them speak about the sizes, styles, and discuss whether or not the sample bracelets actually had 'ions' in them.  The way they spoke it led me to believe that they don't even know what the word ion means, which isn't necessarily a bad thing for the average person but for people presumably _selling_ a product based on one word, it would probably be good for them to understand some background on it.  Tho I could be wrong and they may very well have all had PhD's in chemistry.

I highly doubt these do anything except perhaps drain the wallet and or give a nice placebo effect.  Also I have yet to find a paper written on them showing any benefits.  I did however find a nice commentary written about them.  Yay !

In other news weird things are happening.  Sunday felt like everything was happening on purpose as everything was -perfectly- timed and stuff just fell into awesome place.  The streak has kind of continued this week with more randomness and unexpectedness (not all good tho, but unusual ?)

In sad news I get to attend a second funeral in two weeks, this one for a former prof + the father of one of my classmates.  This'll be another sad one.  Tho he did get to see his son graduate with the highest mark in all of Engineering, which is a plus.

(I realize the only time I wear my suit is to get trashed at a fancy celebration or to go to funerals)
