Here I am, Once again

Jul 02, 2005 15:32

Well here it is.  The first official post of the summer of 2005.  I'm not going to lie, even with a few months of school left to go, I claimed to Joe that this was definitely going to be the BEST summer of all time.  He didn't seem to agree and thought that no summer could ever surpass the wonderful summer of 2004.  Well I think that Ii'm beginning ( Read more... )

Im supposed to be going to new york next year. My mom knows that i really want to go and she all of a sudden decided that she really wanted to go too. so i guess we are going after i graduate. my mom is all like "save a little bit from each pay check so that you will have between 1 and 2 thousand dollars when we go." but im not gonna worry about saving any money cuz i dont really plan on buying anything. im getting married and so i am focused on saving for that instead ((which will piss my mom off but oh well))

well, hopefully your summer gets a bit more eventful. mine hasnt been all that great either. so i understand where you are coming from. all that has happened with me is summer school and work. i did go to mall of america ((and i LOVE going there)) but i go there a lot so its not like anything new to me.

digital cameras rock.

You'll love New York. It's my absolute favorite place on earth now. If you like city life that is. If you just like it laid back and quiet then you'll absolutely hate New York because something is always going on and the cars keep you on the look out 24/7, lol. It was the time of my life and I couldn't of asked for a better vacation. Getting married?!?!? When??!?

Sounds more eventful than mine. I haven't done anything exciting other than vacation or a few nights ago so I think you're beating me there. I know summer will still somehow turn out alright.

They're just so much money though. Do you have one?

I do save my money. But still, I don't want to blow like all the money I've earned so far on just one thing, lol. Unless however, it was something like a car, then that'd be understandable.

Oh definitely. If it's not a good deal than forget it. So what big thing have you bought so far?

Definitely something you learn to appreciate...

Yeah, I guess that I'll like it and all. I mean, I REALLY do want to go and all. But there is just something about a place that makes it better or worse depending on who is going with you. And I dont really want to go with these certain 'designated' people ( ... )

That shouldn't matter though. IT'S NEW YORK CITY!!! No matter who you're with it's impossible not to have a good time in that city. Simply amazing.

Well congrats Andrea!! That's awesome. Yes, I do think it's a long time away (because it is more than 2 years away) but I'm sure if you set your mind to it, it'll actually happen. So congrats again!

Wow. That's horrible. You think that since the problem was THEIR fault they'd have sent you a new one totally free. They're going to lose a lot of people that way. So you didn't send the $200 did you?!?!? I would have e-mailed back saying how horrible that was to do that. But oh well, I'm sorry, and thank you very much for the tip. Definitely a load of crap. I would have never sent the $200.

Oh there's no way you won't have fun in New York City. It's the best place on earth and there's too much to do so there's no way you won't have a good time.

Well once again thank you for the warning. I can't actually believe they'd want you to send THEM $200 more for something that was all THEIR fault. But whatever, just don't get something from them again.

Have a wonderful day :) .
