The Misfits Files: Episode 4
First of all: Ruthie do not read!!!
LOVED this episode. Maybe not as much as the last one because, come on, that was amazing. But this one was spectacular on so many levels.
- I adored what it said about violent video games. The way it was put together was so artfully done and conveyed the message so well. A particularly stunning way of doing this was when Jimmy knocked over the old lady on the street (that scene was perfect) which was echoed later by Nathan knocking over the fat guy while playing the game. Absolutely and completely eerie and shocking. The way it showed the games to be so wrong and against nature and damaging to the human psyche was brilliant. I really hope its message got across because I abhore these games. Kelly's line "that's what happens when guys do nothing but play video games and wank to porn on the internet" summed it up so well (and bonus points for the comment on porn).
Basically, I am in love with the writers of this show. Massive applause from me. (tiny side note: would have been even better if the guy had spoken in an American accent, as they did in the game, but I guess the writers didn't want to piss anyone off.)
- Kelly was so great in this episode. I especially loved how she still did that pissed-off tilty head thing even while she was strung up on a meat hook. Brilliant!
- I really wish Ollie had stayed. Thought he would have made a great addition to the group. But I love the new girl, so it's ok.

So yeah, Misfits was good. And it's snowing again. ARGH. I'm so worried that mt dress is stuck in some depo somewhere and that I'll never get it, no matter in time for the ball! Oh dear. I am seriously losing sleep over this :(
Anyway. My room's all decorated and pretty so that makes me feel better. Hope y'all are doing well!
