Coheed & Cambria

Aug 14, 2010 20:56

I finally decided to listen to Coheed & Cambria, after my ex-boss told me about it 4 years ago-- lol, well, I had downloaded several songs listening Welcome Home more than others, so imagine my surprise when I saw that song included in Rock Band set list, THAT's when I decided to give it a try.

I LOVED IT!!!!!

I never would've imagined that I'd like concept albums, but the comics did it. I love comics so, that was a plus and that's why my boss told me in the first place. Listening to the story of Coheed and Cambria in the songs is amazing. I don't know what the hell is the difference than any other song telling a story, but these group blows me away. It would have been so easy to label them metal or one category but there are much more, progressive, alternative, metal...

This one is one of my favorites: epic

along with
Time Consumer, Everything Evil (Second Stage Turbine Blade album)
In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3, Three Evils (Embodied in Love and Shadow), The Crowing (In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3 album)
Always & Never, Welcome Home, Wake Up, The Suffering
(Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV, Vol. 1: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness album)
No World For Tomorrow, The Hound (of Blood and Rank), Feathers, The Running Free, Mother Superior (No World For Tomorrow album)
