With all of the attention on the political landscape lately, and all of the fun little bits of information that keep coming out on various and sundry related topics, I felt that I'd get in on some of the little bits of underlying fun and games that I've noticed occurring.

It took me a while, but I finally figured out why Evolutionists have problems with the teaching of Intelligent Design or Creationism in a science classroom: It's because they don't want people to point out that Evolution isn't a "science" so much as it is a philosophy.

I just heard an in-law's online radio show that dealt with the primary topic of capitalism vs. socialism and I noticed that some of the issues never really got explained clearly, or at least, the reactions didn't seem to come out as succinctly as I was hoping.

I've had enough conversations with enough people to start noticing a disturbing pattern when it comes to what information is considered factual. I see things on TV, hear them on the radio, and read about them in various places. Being a registered voter in that "nothing worth mentioning" category known as "independent," I'm willing to put up with very little from those I'm going to be voting for. That's not to say that I won't vote for a Democrat or a Republican if I like their candidate(s) for a particular office, but I tend to care less and less about party affiliations ( Read more... )
