“You wore it,” Evelyn's voice was thick, her grey eyes wide as she watched Cullen turn slowly before her in the warm firelight, giving her a good look of the tailored coat on him. For a brief moment, Evelyn was more than stunned, feeling the heavy weight of her knapsack fall from it's loose position on her shoulder, catching in the bend of her arm.

The Inquisitor cleared her throat, warmth filling her abdomen at the very sight of him, leaving her nerves alive and singing with the rush of desire she felt peaking. She leaned her staff against the wall and dropped her knapsack to the floor as she walked the last few steps into her chambers, her eyes never leaving Cullen.

Cullen tugged at the collar, smoothing his hands down the fine Antivan leather, his honey gaze catching hers, “Do you approve, my Lady?”

The coat was exquisite on him. Evelyn would have to thank Josephine later, much later.

Cullen tugged at the cuffs, buttoning them, his eyes never leaving Evelyn's as she slowly crossed the distant between them.

“I most certainly do,” Evelyn stumbled out, a smile blossoming on her lips as she caught his hand in hers, her thumb running over his knuckles tenderly. She sucked in a breath, her eyes looking down to see that he had not worn gloves as he usually did. “Oh,” her lips formed the tiny syllable as she exhaled a shuddering breath.

And Evelyn Trevelyan with all her etiquette and refinement and need for control was wondrously lost at the rough feel of his bare hands. Cullen gently tipped her chin so that he could catch her eyes, his thumb caressing her cheek, smoothing over her dirt covered skin.

“You look... very dashing,” Evelyn licked her lips.

Fire kindled deep within her as Cullen's honey eyes flickered to her lips.

“I told you that I do,” his voice sounded just as husky as hers felt. “Did you not trust my word?”

He cupped her cheek, his thumb drawing tiny circles at the corner of her lips.

Her eyes fluttered as he leaned forward, gently resting his forehead to hers, his breath hot on her flushed cheeks as he exhaled his own shaky breath. She whimpered, bumping their noses together, her arms slowly reaching up to curl around his neck. She ran her hands over the material of the coat and pulled herself against him, unabashed.

“It's a good look for you,” Evelyn mumbled, her smile blooming.

“Thank you, my Lady,” Cullen exhaled, his nose brushing the tip of her ear before he let the tip of his tongue flick out to taste the lobe, only making her breath hitch in her throat as well.

“You'll have to wear it again for me,” the Inquisitor stuttered, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck, feeling her legs tremble as desire rippled through her.

“As you wish,” Cullen grinned into a searing open-mouthed kiss he planted on the column of her throat, enjoying her shivering in his grasp.
