I feel extremely odd, but what the hell.
Today's my birthday.
Somehow I never realized that my birthday was also the date that Matthew Shepard was killed.
I keep flinching when I see the thing that's going around on lj, not because I don't think it's worth the statement or not because I don't think people should post it or anything negative like that.
I just feel sad.
I also found out that aparrently I share my birthday with Mr. Hugh Jackman. So, yay for that.
And, of course, my imaginary boy toy Sean Patrick Flanery had his birthday yesterday.
Still, I feel sad.
This too shall pass, I'm sure.
It just seems like, so many of my friends are going through an intense amount of stress and pain and there's so little I can do about it. Except to say that I love you and I'm thinking of you and that my prayers are with you.
