La casa pizza grill

I never done that although I wanted to several times, here's a review of a restaurant I went to.

La Casa Pizza Grill.

So I was invited there, the restaurant itself lies in a recent commercial park. From outside it doesn't look neither good or bad. The first impression started once we crossed the door: the employees saw us coming and were already preparing menus and all to receive us, we had like 5 persons saying "hi" to us. While I do like people to be nice, it felt a bit too much. The restaurant was almost empty because we arrived early but still it gives a feeling that the employees have nothing else to do.
The restaurant look is quite interesting to be honest: carpet on the floor and comfortable seats. One thing I hate in a restaurant is TV, you don't go to a restaurant for it, i hope, yet you hardly can find one without nowadays.
The menu was nice and well presented, so well that, for my order, it didn't look like what I saw on the menu. First thing to hit you literally are the prices: 15 € for a single meal is just too much in my opinion.
And the rush of servers wouldn't stop. They kept asking if we were ready to order, pushing us in a way. My mom ordered a Calzone (pizza) and I ordered a skewer of scallops.

My scallops were much smaller than the ones on the picture from the menu which is a big disappointement, mom's pizza looked fine.
As for taste...
The scallops looked and tasted definately like frozen food. I know that's what you get in most restaurant but even frozen food can be of quality, certainly not the same as fresh food but still. The sauce was really good though. The rice was blend and that's all about it.
Mom complained about her pizza, I got to try it and it tasted like industrial food, not what you expect from a 15€ pizza, the paste wasn't cooked enough, felt sticky and raw, and it had a long lasting low quality flour in the mouth. Enough not to try a second time.
Two servers rushed one after the other at our table after we finished and both asked the same question "will you have a dessert, I'll let you choose!". One is ok, two is annoying.
All in all it was barely ok, but I went for a dessert, the profiterolles, it's three choux pastry each with vanilla ice cream inside, all covered with chocolate sauce and whipped cream.
The choux were crunchy, not the way you want one, but rather like a dry biscuit which dried too much, the chocolate sauce was the perfect industrial stuff on which you could see the plate through, it was so disgusting I decided not to have a "café gourmant": coffee with mini desserts.
This was the first time we went there but for the quality and price, this will be our last time.
