Quick post, late, need sleep.
Sorry I'm hardly around, I'm still here somewhere is the tldr.
Anyone else going to the convention this weekend? Little advertisement, not much on the schedule, but at least its in town.
I'll bring a couple of games, but not many. Not sure I can find my Are You a Werewolf stuff, but hopefully Alkalai remembers his this time. (I'll resume carrying a small game room in my car for conventions when the games that were stolen from me at FCN are returned...which means likely never.)
Work's descent; saving for future plans. Wanting to have my passport start processing before the end of the year.
Looking for houses to rent in the Indy Metro area, south or south west preferable. I'm rather happy with Greenwood, and don't foresee any other city having everything I can find here.
Saw Rise of the Planet of the Apes today...Wonderful :). Hope real science isn't nearly that sloppy, but bigger mistakes have happened...And was that Draco Malfoy?...O.o...
Gen Con was great.. placed better in my events than last year, but I'm not quite rolling in it like I was last year *shrugs*. Contented trade off, I suppose. Totally didn't see everything, I didn't even think to leave the convention center this year, not sure how one forgets that the convention is bigger than the center itself, but I did.
Enjoying League of Legends, cheaper than WoW (In theory) and everyone has access to the same gear (I.E. not super disadvantaged because I work a regular job and haven't been keeping up for the past umpteen years). Wish I could say the same for my other hobbies.
