If someone asked her to describe him she wouldn’t be able to describe; sometimes that guy took care of her, sometimes he didn’t really care, sometimes he just ignored her. And it drove her mad, the fact she was never able to read his mind. She loved that he was always unpredictable but she hated it too because she never knew what was the meaning of things he have done to her. She told Soojung this.
“The thing with you is you always jump into conclusions. You and me and all the freaking girls around the world, the problem with us is we love to connect things people do with our own assumption and our hopes. That’s why girls’ hearts are so fragile, you see. We tend to attach ourselves with dreams and hopes which are far from reality. You,my dear,” Soojung pointed at her while taking a sip from her frappucinno ,”Gotta wake up soon. I don’t know Jongin’s mind either, but so far I don’t think he’s treating you any different from me. You and he and I and he are basically on the same level. But you’re cute so he likes to tease you.”
“I hate you for always telling the truth.” She pouted. “And I hate him for always giving me fucking mixed signals. He know already don’t you think? So why the hell he won’t leave me alone? I can survive without him. I will survive even better.”
“Yeah I think he does, I mean you’re always so obvious, blushing every time he’s around!” Soojung laughed. “Fuck you,Soo.” She muttered, blushing. Soojung laughed even harder. “But yeah, seriously he’s kinda weird though, if somebody likes me but I don’t like him back I won’t be around him 24/7 a day. But Jongin… maybe he’s the type who likes to keep his lovers around? It would’ve be nice to have someone showers you with affection all the time-“
“I don’t shower him with affection! And stop using lovey-dovey language it irks me.”
“Fine, whatever. You see my point. Maybe he likes to have you around because he’s comfortable with you, in a brotherly way. I guess best friends like you two sometimes aren’t meant to be lovers because it’s not long lasting, Sul.” Soojung said. Sulli’s eyes shone less. “Guess you’re right Soo. He told me that too. Best friends shouldn’t be lovers because when they break up their friendship end too.. and he never want that. You know he’s the type who put his friends first. I always know I won’t stand a chance of him. All I can do is be a better friend to him. What else can I do? Zero. Ugh I hate being trapped in this shitty friendzone. I hate this situation so much Soo..” Sulli talked rather emotionally, thoughtlessly munching on chocolate bars she picked beside the living room table.
“You just gotta move on, that guy is sooo not worth your time. I’ll help you through this, and maybe better luck next time? Who knows?” Soojung replied. “I’m so done with guys, I swear. Jongin and other guys are great friend but sucks at being lover. I don’t understand why their actions always mislead to other stuffs.” Sulli sighed. “Damn right you are.” Soojung nodded whole-heartedly.
“Anyways I got to go, I have work to do. See you later okay? We’ll talk again.” Soojung said, grabbing her coat from the hanger and walked toward the dorm’s door. “Alright…. By the way, thank you so much Soo. I know you’re probably tired of me ranting about Jongin almost every day but you’re the one I trust this much.” Sulli sighed again, but her lips curved a smile toward the slightly younger girl.
“No probs, you know you’re my number one best friend, you can count on me kay?” Soojung smiled back, and then she closed the door.

Soojung waited outside for couple of minutes before someone tapped her shoulder. “Miss me?” The guy grinned and pulled her into a hug. “Kinda,” she groaned, hugged the boy even tighter. “What’s with the sad face?” he asked, caressed her cheeks.
“Sulli.” She sighed. He held her hand. “I’m sorry.”
‘’It’s not your fault…. But I feel bad for her.” She said softly. “I’m such a bad friend, I’m selfish and ignorant, only thinks about- “
“No you aren’t,”’ Jongin cut off. “If there’s someone to blame it’s me. I’m sorry to put you through this, but you complete me. I used to feel like I lack of something but ever since I met you… it’s gone. I love the way you make me feel. I know this sound like bullshit but I’m not lying. Trust me, someday we’re going to tell her. I promise you. ” he assured, kissed her slowly. She kissed him back. “I love you.”
“I always love you more, Krys.”’

From where she stood, Sulli looked upon the lovebird that walked down the road. She smiled bitterly. She knew, she knew it from the very first time she saw Soojung&Jongin talked. They had chemistry that was what she thought back then. She had feeling about it and her feelings were never wrong. She knew, but she pretended she didn’t. After all, three always can play the game. And she played it all along.
