Fairly Oddparents: Grow Up, Timmy Turner (a movie)
Just thought I'd mention somewhere on the internet my thoughts about this movie. It's a live-action movie based on the Fairly Oddparents cartoon. I've seen quite a few of the cartoons and was pleasantly surprised to hear that a lot of the voice actors in the cartoon provided the voices of the live-action characters. I was not expecting that. And for bringing the characters into the "real world", they did a good job. I did think that it was kinda creepy that a 23-year-old Timmy Turner was still in the fifth grade, even though they explain that he just didn't want to grow up and lose his fairy godparents, still, thought that was not right.
Anyway, I thought they did a good transitioning the cartoon to live-action. While it's not in the running to win any non-kid's-choice awards, it's still a good conclusion to that particular cartoon series.
